The Little Projects That Make the Biggest Difference

It's funny, some of my favorite organizing projects are often the ones clients are almost hesitant to ask for.

They'll say, "I know this isn't a big project..." or "This might sound a little silly..." But to me, these are often the projects that should have been prioritized all along.

Why? Because they're the things you reach for every single day.

Whether it's a makeup collection that's overflowing, a drawer full of planner stickers, a jewelry box that's impossible to find anything in, or even your home bar accessories, these spaces are part of your daily routines. They bring you joy, help you unwind, or support hobbies that are important to you. They deserve just as much attention as a pantry or closet.

One of the best parts of my job is getting a glimpse into the unique interests of every client. I had no idea the planner sticker community was such a world of its own until I organized one client's collection! I've learned about countless makeup products I never knew existed, specialty cocktail tools, and all sorts of collections that are deeply personal to the people who own them.

Those "small" organizing projects are never really small. They're acts of self-care.

When your makeup is easy to see, getting ready feels less stressful. When your favorite stickers are organized, planning becomes something you look forward to. When your bar drawer is functional, hosting friends or mixing your favorite drink becomes effortless instead of frustrating.

Organization isn't just about making your home look nice. It's about making everyday moments feel easier—and sometimes a little more joyful.

So if you've been putting off organizing something because it feels too small or too specific, don't.

Those are often the projects that make the biggest difference.
